Laverne Rose Crawford-Ensor

Coordinator for USA

I was born in Alabama, and we moved to California, when I was a teenager. My journey into finance began in the 1970s, thanks to my then-husband, which opened doors to a career that has taken me across the globe. I met my late husband, a film producer and actor known for his roles in the James Bond franchise, in London, England. Together, we spent 25 years living and working in England and working and traveling to all the countries we worked in including France, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Tunisia, Estonia, Costa Rica, Belgium, Luxembourg, Jamaica, Honduras and others.

In addition to our work in finance, we were proud producers of the first Costa Rican musical, "Rasur, Dios de la Paz" and co-authors of the children's book series "Tamalino." Currently, I reside in Arizona near my children. I left the UK when my husband fell ill, to be with family. I will soon be returning to California, which I will always consider home.

Looking ahead, I plan to continue my work in finance, and I look forward to being involved with an anti-poaching organization, as well as combining my professional pursuit in finance using some of the proceeds to finance humane projects and organizations continuing my commitment to meaningful causes. In Costa Rica I worked with a worldwide organization to help children and women in need - Softly International.
